Tatjana May has been with Shire since May 2001.
She was previously Assistant General Counsel at the corporate headquarters of AstraZeneca plc and prior to that she worked at the law firm Slaughter and May.
Jessica joined Shire in 2001 to establish and lead the company’s corporate communications function. Jessica is responsible for all aspects of Shire’s external and internal corporate communications, and leads a global team based in the UK and Philadelphia. Her experience covers reputation management, brand building, change management, culture communications and media crisis management as well as public affairs and corporate social responsibility.
Craig has been with Shire since January 2002. He was previously Senior Director of Marketing for Otsuka America Pharmaceutical. He began his career at Merrell Dow where he held various marketing and sales positions. He also directed a global marketing team at Zimmer and a sales and marketing team at Iomed.

Isabel Hayley joined Shire in 2009. Her role encompasses managing Shire’s environmental compliance and environmental impacts globally, and the health, safety, and wellness of our staff at our manufacturing and R&D facilities, sales and international offices. Isabel and has been working in the field of HS&E and sustainability for 19 years specializing in international HS&E regulatory compliance, management systems, performance improvement, sustainability and environmental due diligence. During that time, she has lived and worked in US, Asia and Europe. She holds a BA and MA in medical (veterinary) sciences from Cambridge University and an MS in Ecology and Environmental Science from Lancaster University.
Sharon started with Shire in July 2007 as Head of Global Regulatory Affairs and transitioned to her new role in November 2010. She joined Shire with over 19 years as a Regulatory Professional.
During that time Sharon has worked across multiple therapeutic areas and has held numerous Regulatory Affairs leadership positions within both Boehringer Ingelheim, based in the UK and Germany and with Pfizer Inc. based in the UK, East Coast (New London, CT) and West Coast (La Jolia, CA) of America.
Susan Rosen, M.D., who joined Shire in 2005, has been involved in pharmaceutical medicine for 25 years. Susan has a broad range of experience in clinical drug development, medical affairs, and pharmacovigilance, and has built capabilities in medical surveillance, risk management and epidemiology at large, mid-size and small global pharma organizations. A graduate of Yale University, she received her medical degree from Cornell University’s Weill Medical College. Susan is US board-certified in ophthalmology and held academic faculty appointments prior to entering the pharmaceutical industry.

Sheila Stranks joined Shire in March 2003. She is a member of the Compliance and Risk Management team reporting to Caroline West, Chief Compliance Officer. Sheila has Corporate Compliance responsibility for the geographic region outside of the Americas for HGT and Specialty. Since joining Shire Sheila has worked in several different functions within our company including as General Manager for several renal products. Sheila has over 20 years of experience within the Pharmaceutical industry in sales and marketing. Before joining Shire, Sheila was with Parke–Davis, part of the Warner Lambert group. She is a graduate of the University of Glasgow in Biochemistry and holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde. Sheila is also a Magistrate in the North Hampshire area of the UK.

Brooke joined Shire in January 2011 as head of global internal communications and Responsibility. In this role she is responsible for Shire’s global internal communications strategy enabling the business to effectively build employee alignment to and engagement with Shire's purpose and Vision. She is part of the Responsibility Communications & Steering Group where she provides critical analysis, communications input and strategic guidance, and also serves as the sponsor for Disease Awareness. Brooke worked as a communications consultant in New York and London for more than 20 years before joining Shire, advising clients including Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson and Allied Domecq. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and has a MSc in Organizational Behaviour from the University of London, Birkbeck.
Joff established and leads the global government relations and public policy team for Shire. With responsibility for strategic engagement with governments and policymakers in support of the needs of people affected by life-altering conditions, the global government relations team collaborates with internal business partners and external stakeholders to enable the company’s delivery of value to patients, healthcare systems and society. Joff joined Shire in 2006 and is experienced in advocacy, government relations, health policy, market access, marketing, public affairs, sales management and strategy. He is actively involved in a number of external professional and volunteer organizations.
As part of the corporate communications team at Shire, Matt is responsible for helping to create and reinforce the corporate image and reputation of this global specialty biopharmaceutical company. Matt works with Shire’s global teams to help identify, guide and maximize Shire’s community partnerships, supporting Shire’s purpose of enabling people with life-altering conditions to lead better lives.
Since joining Shire in July of 2004, Matt has led communications efforts in support of various projects, business operations, and community volunteer engagement activities. He has helped to shape Shire’s presence and growth in the industry, across the Philadelphia region, greater Boston region, North America and Europe.
Prior to joining Shire Matt was part of the corporate communications teams at PNC Financial Services Group, Keystone Mercy Health Plan, and the American Red Cross. He began his professional career in radio as a reporter, editor and producer at radio stations in the greater Philadelphia region. Matt volunteers with numerous regional and industry organizations.

Jeremy joined Shire HGT in 2012 and leads global clinical development operations. He brings over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently at the Medicines Company where he was VP, Global Project Head for iv clopidogrel after leading their Global Clinical Operations and Program Management departments. Prior experience includes heading functions of Clinical Operations, Program Management, Biostatistics, and Data Management at Synta Pharmaceuticals, Vertex, Parexel and Glaxo UK (now GSK). Jeremy earned his PhD and MS in statistics from the University of London, UK and his BS in mathematics from DeMontfort University, UK.
