US Patient Assistance Programs
At Shire, we strive to be as brave as the people we help. One of the ways we can do that is by helping to provide you with access to the Shire medicine you need. That’s why we created Shire Cares – to ensure you can get the Shire medicines your physician has prescribed through our Patient Assistance & Support program.
Shire is dedicated to assisting patients with limited financial resources. If you don’t have prescription insurance or are having trouble affording your medicines, Shire Cares may be able to help.

The medicines available through the new Shire Cares Patient Assistance & Support Program are:

- LIALDA® (mesalamine) Delayed Release Tablets

Shire Human Genetic Therapies
OnePath provides comprehensive support for patients, families and healthcare providers needing assistance with approved Shire HGT products and therapies.
A variety of product support services for eligible US patients who need assistance in accessing therapy such as:
- Co-pay Assistance Program
- Patient Assistance Program
- Charitable Donations.
